LEGACY OPEN
It consists of the methodology’s study in order to collect information and identify impartial necessary guidelines. This is to define the impact of LEGACY applications’ migration on OPEN platforms.
Description: this project’s goal is to suggest a methodology, which uses a tool called “Rosetta Stone”, able to define an impartial process. The same process has to be repeatable for the assessment of impact, thus costs, duration and resources needed to realise a project of modernisation of a legacy application. This means application migration from the mainframe to a cloud.
BEST PRACTICE & SECURITY
Critical resources and possible attacks mapping, identification of the best practices in the field of security measures applied to ICS/SCASA architecture systems.
Description: this project’s goal is to collect the best practices of the sector, spotting the most worrying threats and underlining the surfaces where the attack might occur. The activity has a double approach: one more theoretical, the other more practical and based on laboratory activities that guarantee a first hand experience on the risks related to the management of technological systems.
INNOVATION SOUND
Study and analysis of an innovative system able to parametrize the special features of the environment in order to re-create in the most detailed way the real conditions of the space.
Description: such system is characterized by different aspects that make it unique in its field. The combination between an artistic and a scientific approach, the use of original algorithms, the fruition of scientific tools that can re-create real life conditions through virtualization.
ROME CITYPATH
A Creation of an interactive guide for the use of the smartphone and tablet.
Description: By using the open data source which is made available by the Council of Rome and other private and public institutions, it has been realised a system, called the interactive guide. This system is at disposal of citizens and tourists, it allows you to gain information that helps you to organise your journery in a safer and more pleasent way. Users can check and obtain information regarding cultural and social services and events. The projext was realised by the cooperation of ISI S.r.Lìl. – Computer Science team.
